In the distance, the sun sets as the cathedral bells chime, reminding everyone that it is time to retreat into the serene embrace that home offers. As I stroll down the streets of Bruges with my wife, I catch a glimpse of the clock tower as the sun coats it in a bright hue.

The beauty overtakes me while the aroma of coffee and chocolates greet my senses. I notice the vendors have opened their doors to greet any with a keen sense of smell to partake in the delights their goods have to offer.

The sun continues to set as a breeze brings a tingle down my spine. I soon know that this memory will serve as inspiration for my reflections of Belgium.
