As the moon pokes through the clouds, I sit at a table for two in Vernazza. The beauty of this area never ceases to impress me. The moonlight casts a reflection upon the ocean as I enjoy a candlelit dinner with my wife. The boats pulling into the harbor and the waves crashing against the cliffs give me an overwhelming sense of peace. I have never felt so at peace. The vibrant lights glisten across buildings and water alike as I take in the fresh air the ocean brings. In the distance I see the sparkle of lights nestled against the cliffs. In that brief and overwhelming moment everything seemed perfect with the world.
