Neuschwanstein Castle
I have always had a fascination with castles for as long as I can remember. One castle in particular always comes to mind though, Neuschwanstein Castle in Germany. The reclusive King Ludwig II, or Mad King Ludwig commissioned the castle yet didn’t live long enough to see it completed. After his death it was opened to the public and lives on as one of the most wondrous castles ever built. This magnificent work of art and architecture combined has always been inspirational to me in many different ways. I hope to make this refuge come to life on canvas as I catch the fantastic colors and breathtaking views this castle has to offer. I often wonder what it would be like to live in such a magnificent piece of art. To be able to wake up and walk out onto the balcony and look across miles of breathtaking beauty. I hope you come to love this fantastic work of art as much as I do, because such a masterpiece does not deserve to only be seen in one location in the world, but from our homes as well.
