On a journey to Gatlinburg, TN, my wife and I decided to stop in the breathtaking town of Pigeon Forge. This beautiful town is nestled cozily around the Great Smokey Mountains. I could only imagine this gorgeous scenery during every season of the year. Not only are there breathtaking views, but it is a magnificent family retreat with a sense of old-fashioned southern hospitality and fun for all ages. As we explored our surroundings, we were amazed by the cozy inn at Christmas Place. This picturesque area of Tennessee offers magnificent Bavarian architecture overlooking a breathtaking garden and pond. I was awed at the landscape I saw and utterly amazed at where I was standing. It conjured an image in my mind which I had to express on canvas as soon as I could. Pigeon Forge invites the viewer to capture the experience that this incredibly elegant town offers.
