As I stare up at the stucco peeling off of the old brickwork, the chill of a crisp morning breeze takes hold of me. The labyrinth of romantic canals being explored by small gondolas gives me a feeling only experienced within Venice.
The sun rises over the towering buildings and it overtakes the city with a plethora of colors. At this moment the city truly comes to life as it beckons anyone to enjoy the intimacy it has to offer. As I further explore this romantic rendezvous, every detail brings me in closer. Waiters adorning tables with white tablecloths and flowers, vines hanging over my head along the many corridors of Venice, as well as people sitting in cafes and restaurants enjoying the new morning, catch my eye.
As the sun continues to rise towards the heavens, I know that this Venetian sunrise marks another beautiful day in paradise.
