I was truly inspired when told the story of Margaret Mitchell, the woman who published “Gone with the Wind” in 1936. This brought Hollywood to the Loew’s Grand Theater in Atlanta on December 15th, 1939. I envision how it may have looked that night.
I close my eyes and can see the old cable streetcar cruising down the street with people boarding and embarking on their exciting adventure to the premiere. This majestic night was one which was marked in history. I invite you to step within this painting and partake in this historical night.
